Going to Get Hannah

I've finally figured out my itinerary to go pick up Hannah from 1/2 way round the world (actually more or less depending on which way you go). Here's map of the trip and the trek and the legs and the air time. Hannah's flying behind me on the 21st and gets to LAX on the 22nd. Henry's also flying in that day and will be down for Christmas on the 23rd. Should be a wonderful Christmas!

On the Road

Since October 18, I've been on the road--not the Silk Road like Hannah but the long-speaking, tired-traveling, family-seeing, nature-loving road. I can't compare with a golden Buddah, monkey poop or Thai DJ's saying "I jlove Shoew York", I've collected a few photos for Hannah's dancing and listening pleasure (and the rest of y'awl). So here you go . . .

More thoughts

I've never been in a Mangrove.

Adding new thoughts inspired by Hannah's trip.

Following Hannah's Progress

It is some great comfort to follow Hannah's progress in Thailand, and in life. She is sweet and endearing and full of the spirit of her adventure--especially in apologizing for her inordinate alcohol consumption. Great life lessons await to be plucked from the Mangroves and the caves and in the small lapping waves that continually refresh Ko Tao and the eastern shoreline of the Malay Peninsula. How sanguine and exotic and wonderfully exciting.
